We are currently looking for a 2nd shift Temp to Hire CNC Operator in our Wausau Plant Location.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Therequirements are listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required. Basic Function:
Operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts, load parts in machine, cycles machine,
detects malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged cutting tools. Communicate with coworkers
regarding productions runs and maintains a safe, organized work environment.
Qualified Candidate Must:
Be Customer service Orientated and able to adapt to change.
Be quality minded. Must always strive for continuous improvement and scrap reduction.
Candidate must be flexible with working hours to react to changes in production needs.
Ability to read architectural and mechanical drawings.
Standard PC skills like e-mailing, cut, copy and pasting are a must, MS Word and Excel
experience is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of gauging technologies.
Experience machining aluminum a plus.
Knowledge and skill to set-up and run CNC equipment.
Must be highly motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Depending on work load, may also be required to work in Machining.
Practical G&M; programming code experience highly desirable.
Must be able to /not more than lift maximum of 75 lbs intermittently
Must be able to bend, stretch and twist
Must be able to stand for at least 10 hours
Associate degree preferred or minimum of 2 years of related experience.
Minimum education required: High School Diploma or GED
Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform task and adherence to all safety policies
and procedures are essential functions of this job
