Provides general administrative leadership, coordinates projects, groups, and non-clinical service ensuring overall efficiency and effectiveness. Responsible for the coordination of daily secretarial operations including effective communication linkages within, as well as between departments.
Knowledge of office procedures normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma or equivalent required. An Administrative Assistant Associate Degree preferred.
One to two years of prior related administrative assistant experience in a healthcare environment.
Possesses critical thinking skills, good communication skills, the ability to prioritize, the ability to work independently, attention to accuracy and timeliness in all work products and related work experience to develop and enhance skills.
Computer literacy required relative to the software programs utilized atWausauHospitalas well as department specific program requirements.
Is self-directed and displays good judgment with attention to detail. Possesses good organizational skills.
