The Administrative Assistant provides clerical support to the Finance department including reconciliation of accounts and statements.
Education, Licenses, Certification, Skills and Experience Requirements:
Minimum Education:
High School diploma or equivalent Minimum Work
Experience:
Less than one year of experience Required Skills:
Strong communication and organizational skills Excellent customer service and phone etiquette skills Moderate computer skills and comfortability with Microsoft Office Excel Accuracy and attention to detail Time management skills Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting practices Driving Requirements:
Valid Wisconsin driver's license and appropriate auto insurance coverage as required by North Central Health Care.
Must have the use of a personal vehicle.

One to three years' experience in cash application in a healthcare setting Any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
Essential Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Provides coverage for cashiers' office and directs workflow in cash application area Receipts in all cash and applies payments to client accounts Process transactions to cash register by effectively and efficiently handling cash and credit card payments Document bank transactions by processing checks and online deposits in a proactive manner Enter all payments received from suppliers, cafeteria, and pharmacy into designated databases Maintain log of daily receipts for posting of payments to appropriate accounts Responsible for managing various aspects of deposit such as collecting and processing residential client deposits Coordinates activities with the accounting department to ensure the creation of daily reporting Communicates and liaises with Patient Financial Services staff as necessary to work unapplied payments Completes quarterly trust fund invoicing for nursing home residents Non-Essential Job Duties:
Manages incoming mail All other duties as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
