Qualifications:
Training and experience gained through graduation from a college or university with major study emphasis in vocational rehabilitation or other related field Five years practical/relative vocational rehabilitation experience appropriate in lieu of formal education Prior experience in coordination of services with community agencies, job development and/or marketing is preferred Valid drivers license, good driving record and insured vehicle available for daily use Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Employment Coordinator
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with community resources and utilize varying techniques in accessing services and jobs for individuals with barriers to employment Ability to evaluate individual's functional abilities in a variety of settings Ability to develop employment situations matching individual's abilities and job preferences Provide job related case management and coordination of services for DVR Clients Possess awareness of realistic work expectations regarding quality of work and appropriate behavior Establish working relationships between clients, employers and co-workers to promote integration and foster success Ability to work independently and creatively to perform task analysis of job, job modifications and job redesign when necessary Possess writing and organizational skills to create reports and maintain accurate, up to date case notes and perform assessments and evaluations Employment Coordinator
