Aspirus Wausau Hospital, in Wausau, WI, is seeking a Laboratory Supply Coordinator to join our team! The Laboratory Supply Coordinator monitors and coordinates the flow of inventory and supplies in sufficient quantities as to meet the needs of the Laboratory and Wausau Regional Laboratory (WRL) clients.
This includes ordering, delivery, and storage of supplies for clients and multiple sections within the Laboratory; consolidating supplies and equipment to centralized storage and ordering locations; and, when it is not feasible to centralize, establishing and monitoring inventory at Central Stores and Medline.
The Laboratory Supply Coordinator serves as a primary resource to Laboratory sections and WRL clients to address supply and equipment needs.
Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Director and Outreach Coordinator, and according to established procedures, assists with the coordination and staffing of Laboratory Couriers and assists with maintaining WRL client satisfaction.
Hours:
Full Time or 1.
0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks.
Monday - Friday day shift.
Experience/Qualifications Knowledge of organizational and communication skills normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of laboratory safety regulations, general laboratory operation and computers beneficial.
Previous applicable experience beneficial.
Possesses a valid Wisconsin Driver's License required.
Understands the intent, importance, and function of the Aspirus/Wausau Regional Laboratory compliance plan, including knowledge of how to report suspected fraudulent activities.
