We are seeking a Financial Analyst in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Under guidance from the Director, the Fiscal Services, the Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis and information and the related impacts to Aspirus leadership so that decisions can be made regarding Aspirus operations.
This includes retrospective and prospective analysis.
This position collaborates with clinical leadership, finance, and other professional staff to produce accurate and effective analysis in a timely manner.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prepares financial analysis to provide explanations and drivers in shifts or changes in specific areas.
This financial analysis may also be needed to make decisions for operational or strategic initiatives.
Collaborates with clinical leaders, finance representatives, and other key stakeholders to understand financial impact inquires to obtain necessary information to provide appropriate analysis and explanations.
Completes daily revenue and statistic uploads from EPIC to Infor and researches any variations to insure that the data is transferred accurately and timely.
Oversees the daily revenue reporting, insuring it's accuracy and timeliness.
Assists the Decision Support team in insuring the accuracy of the cost accounting system.
Prepares analysis in structured and clearly defined way that follows Aspirus formatting and expectations.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Education Knowledge of accounting standards, practices, and analysis normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related area.
Experience Three to five years of experience in the area of financial analytics preferably in health care.
