We are seeking an Epic Applications Analyst supporting Healthy Planet, Compass Rose, and Meaningful Use Reporting at Aspirus Inc.
This position is REMOTE but offers the option of having an onsite space at one of Aspirus's locations if desired.
In this role, responsibilities can include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and design solutions using Epic Healthy Planet and Compass Rose modules.
Configure, test, and implement changes to the Epic Healthy Planet and Epic Compass Rose applications, ensuring system functionality aligns with business needs.
Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing application-related inquiries, issues, and enhancements.
Develop and implement Meaningful Use reporting strategies for CMS requirements, ensuring accurate and timely submission of data.
Proactively identify opportunities for system optimization, process improvement, and enhanced user experience.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Epic functionalities to provide recommendations for system enhancements (The Carrot, TEFCA, OIG Updates, etc.
).
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of information systems development, implementation, and management normally acquired through completion of an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, clinical area/related field, or comparable industry experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, quick thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life cycle (SDLC):
project definition, user requirements definition, system requirements definition, analysis and design, system build, implementation and training, sustainment.
PREFERRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS Epic certification in Healthy Planet is preferred - prior experience with Compass Rose is highly desired.
Experience working with Meaningful Use (MIPs) reporting preferred.
Previous experience and familiarity with Service Now as a ticketing platform is preferred.
Three to five years of experience in healthcare IT (clinical, financial/billing, patient access, etc.
) a plus, but not necessarily required Hours:
