Aspirus Inc has partnered with North Central Technical College (NTC ) in Wausau, WI to offer a Phlebotomy Apprenticeship Program for current Juniors and Seniors! The Phlebotomy Youth Apprenticeship initiative offers a unique opportunity to develop skills while entertaining an early interest in the field of laboratory sciences.
The program is designed for high school juniors and seniors who will not only receive Phlebotomy training but also gain practical experience at their Youth Apprenticeship worksite.

Impressive on your resume for college and future employers! Costs of course and general materials are covered by Aspirus! Opportunity to network with other students! Hours counts towards required patient exposure hours for those going to (or thinking about going to) Med School! PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS YA requires working a minimum of 450 hours and take related high school or college classes to enhance their worksite experiences.
High school juniors and seniors from participating North Central Wisconsin School-to-Career Partnership schools are eligible to participate.

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is the flagship of the Aspirus system that serves patients in 14 counties across northern and central Wisconsin, as well as the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
It is a licensed private/not-for-profit facility with 325 beds and staffed by 350 physicians in 35 specialties.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
