Aspirus Health is seeking a Specialty Medical DirectorBusiness Health/Occupational MedicineThis position reports directly to the System Senior Physician Executive - Specialty Care and has relationships with the System Director - Business Services and Service Line Administrators.

2 FTE Assist in the design and implementation of specialty-specific care delivery models Develop credible relationships of trust with the independent and employed physicians as well as advance practice professionals (APCs) and have overall leadership responsibility for the physicians and oversight of the APCs within accountability Provider location must be within the Aspirus Health footprint, and there will be monthly on-site requirement at our Wausau, Wisconsin office
Experience:
Medical Review Officer (MRO) experience highly preferred A minimum of three years experience in the practice of their Specialty (post-residency/ fellowship), direct patient care, and demonstrated skills and experience in clinical and administrative leadership through activities including, but not limited to, advanced healthcare administration course work, service as a medical staff officer, or program medical director Experience and expertise in DOT, OSHA, and Workers Compensation regulations and employer requirements Experience as a successful influencer who can interact effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders such as other physicians, healthcare administration, employer clients and staff Recommended Skills Administration Clinical Works Health Care Leadership Occupational Safety And Health Trustworthy Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
