Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a Sterile Processing Supply Clerk to join our team.
The Sterile Processing Supply Clerk assures the availability of supplies for surgery through procedural case cart preparation.
Practices professional and courteous social skills in his/her interactions with surgical personnel during and after intense situations.
Is responsible for monitoring and documenting processing activities.
Hours:
PART TIME or.
6 FTE, 48 hours every 2 weeks.
Day shift, Monday - Friday 9am - 1:
30pm Experience/Qualifications Demonstrated ability to read, write and do basic mathematics normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Coursework in instrument processing/sterilization desired.
Knowledge of basic surgical standards and practices normally acquired through previous experience in a health related field with emphasis on supply, processing, decontamination and sterilization desired.
Possesses knowledge regarding handling and care of instruments, tray preparation and special procedure items.
Possesses basic recordkeeping skills and the ability to follow direction with special attention to details.
Possesses ability to work closely with others in a team environment.
Possesses ability to work in a fast-paced environment and is flexible to change.
