, a family owned and operated floral wholesaler organization, with the recruitment and selection of a Human Resources Manager.
The Human Resources Manager contributes to the success of Krueger Wholesale's mission and strategic initiatives by providing oversight, evaluation, and leadership of the human resources functions for the organization.
This position is in-person with the potential for occasional remote work and is located in Rothschild, Wisconsin.
The Human Resources Manager will work with department managers to identify the Company's needs as they relate to human resources, employment practices, training and development of staff, employment laws, safety, etc.
The Human Resources Manager is a strategic partner and resource to aid in the implementation of HR programs and plans that are aligned with business priorities to include talent management, workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design and performance management processes.
The Human Resources Manager develops and maintains effective working relationships with management and staff and communicates issues in a proactive and solution-oriented manner to deliver strategic HR services aligned with the Company's objectives.
Contributes to the organizational operations and supports the mission by fostering interdepartmental communication/collaboration.
Demonstrates a high level of ability in leadership, supervisory skills, problem solving, and public relations.
Principal Duties and
Responsibilities:
Manages the Company's human resources functions related to employment law/compliance, benefit administration, employee relations, hiring initiatives, etc.

Provide efficient and reactive consultancy services to management on a range of human resources issues, procedures, and policies consistent with employee standards, legislation, and guidelines.
Develop, interpret, and evaluate human resources operation guidelines and policies.
Investigates, researches, and prepares brief notes or reports on new policies, procedures, and practices of human resources to ensure accurate service delivery.
Assist with the development and maintenance of job descriptions.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws pertaining to all personnel matters.
Inform management of the Company's responsibility under the regulations.
Publish, review, maintain, and/or modify the Employee Handbook as needed.
Recommend appropriate changes in personnel systems and procedures to promote greater efficiency, cost savings, or other benefits for the Company and employees.
Work with brokers on the development of the Company's employee benefit offerings; administer benefit plans and educate employees on their benefit selection.
Evaluate and participate in developing training plans; conduct training needs assessments for employees and conduct training when necessary.
Manage Workers' Compensation and OSHA reporting; provide assistance to the Safety Coordinator with Safety and Security measures.
Manage COBRA, FMLA, and Leave of Absence tracking, documentations, training, etc.

Supporting management with personnel-related matters.
Assisting employees with questions or concerns arising within the scope of their employment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, business administration, or other applicable majors.
7
years of human resources experience and 3
years of human resources management experience.
HRIS experience (ADP - preferred).
Certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) - preferred.
