is a leading retailer of athletically inspired shoes and apparel. Our Distribution Center in Wausau ships direct to customer for all of the Footlocker brands.
We are currently looking for a Shipping Lead on our 2nd Shift. Hours for this position are 12pm-10pm Monday-Friday and every other Saturday for a day shift. Some of the core responsibilities for this position include:
-Assists in delegating jobs and responsibilities to associates.
-Oversees the printing, picking, slotting, packing, releasing, and assembly of customer orders as well as resolving any orders that have inventory issues.
-Provides work direction to 30-50 employees. Carries out lead responsibilities in accordance with the organization's polices and applicable laws. Responsibilities include hands-on training of employees and assistance in planning and directing work.
-Preparing, verifying, and keeping records on outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment
Required
Experience:
Prefered for this position is:
-Previous experience leading and directing work of other associates
-Ability to problem solve quickly
-Previous experience with computer systems like Microsoft Office
