This position is responsible for preparing and/or serving food to patients, staff, visitors, and outreach customers;washing and sanitizing dishes, silverware, and trays for patients, and retail customers. Maintains work area in a clean and sanitary manner. Must be able to follow all applicable policies, procedures, schedules, sanitation, and safety programs.
Knowledge of food handling and preparation practices normally acquired through a demonstrated ability to read, write and follow verbal or written directions. A high school diploma or GED equivalent and previous experience in a food service department beneficial.
Primaryfunction is Dietary Aide.
This positionwillinclude training to fill-in as a cook, when time permits.
